WATERBURY - Allen Gerald Goldman, 91, passed peacefully on December 13, 2020 at the Masonicare in Wallingford, CT. He was the husband of the late Gertrude Ballog Goldman
Mr. Goldman was born on December 29, 1928 in Waterbury son of the late Isdore and Rebecca Goldman. He attended Waterbury schools, served in the US Navy and was a retired mechanic from the United State Postal Services.
He was member of the Sphinx Shriners International, Sphinx Drum Corps, A.A.S.R. Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. USA and the Harmony Lodge No.42.
Allen loved vacationing on Cape Cod and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren
Survivors include three children, his daughter, Barbara Vitone and her husband Frank of Milldale, two sons, Joseph Goldman and his wife Roselyn (Brown) Goldman of Wolcott and David Goldman of Torrington, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a brother, Howard Goldman of Palm Coast, Florida. He was predeceased by a sister, Estelle Kaplin.
Graveside services with military honors to be held Sunday December 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Farband Cemetery, Farband Cemetery Drive, off Route 109 in Morris, CT with Rabbi Micah Ellenson officiating.
The Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow St., Waterbury is assisting with arrangements.
