       WOLCOTT - Armand Andrew Ricard, 93, of Wesley Chapel and San Antonio Florida, formerly of Wolcott, passed away November 28, 2019. 

       He was born in Waterbury on September 10, 1926 and served in the U.S. Navy, Pacific Theater during World War II.  After the war, Mr. Ricard worked as a machinist and assembly line worker, retiring from General Motors in 1989. 

       He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Mary Jean (Clark) Ricard, and several brothers and sisters.  Mr. Ricard is survived by his children, Janice Tryniszewski and spouse Edward Tryniszewski of Wolcott and Thomas Ricard and spouse Gina Ricard of Wesley Chapel, Florida.  He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jill Schiavo and spouse Kristopher Schiavo of Wolcott, Bernadette Ricard of Saint Petersburg, Florida and Amanda Marchica and spouse Charles Marchica of Zephyrhills, Florida, and one great-grandchild, Juliana Marchica of Zephyrhills, Florida.

       The funeral will be held Friday December 6, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow St., Waterbury to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main for a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Thomaston. Calling hours are Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
