          BRISTOL- Jack R. Bradshaw, Sr., 75, of Bristol died at his home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 after a long illness surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Susan (Freier) Bradshaw.

          Jack was born in Waterbury on March 12, 1946 son of the late Perley and Ruth (Sterling) Bradshaw. He served in the U.S. Army and had been a resident of Bristol for the past 30 years.        

          Jack formerly had worked with Innes Brothers Construction Company in Thomaston and retired as the Permittee at The American Legion, Clifford R. French Post 22 in Thomaston.

          Jack was an avid NASCAR fan having attended may races but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved telling a good joke, but at times couldn’t remember the punch line.

          Besides his wife Susan, he leaves his daughter Brenda Tsakonas and her fiancé Dennis Salvietti and his son, Jack R. Bradshaw, Jr. and his wife Lisa. Also, his 3 step children, Jodi Cox-Kyle and her husband Jeffrey, Scott McPherson and Corey McPherson and five grandchildren, Sierra Lush, Kosta Tsakonas, Maria Tsakonas, Gavin Bradshaw and Griffin Bradshaw.

          Jack was the youngest of 11 children and is survived by his brother, Roger Bradshaw and his wife Judy and his sister Joyce Pettit. He was predeceased by his step son, Chad McPherson.

          Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 12 noon at the Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow Street in Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
