          THOMASTON - Lewis P. Warner, III, 56, of Thomaston, died Monday, October 21, 2019 at his home after a long illness surrounded by his family and friends.

          Lewie was born in Waterbury, December 14, 1962 son of Lewis P. Warner, Jr. and the late Dorothy (Wagner) Warner.  He graduated from Thomaston High School, was a member of the Connecticut and New England Ox Owners Association and a proud patron of Tony’s Coffee Shop.

          The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice & Healthcare for the care they provided.

          Besides his father he is survived by a son, Lewis P. Warner IV, three brothers, Steven Warner and his wife Lisa, Brian Warner and Richard Warner and his wife Denise, two nieces, Sadie and Lena Warner.  He was predeceased by a brother, William Warner.  

          The funeral will be Friday October 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow St., Waterbury.  Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Plymouth.  Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

          In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Healthcare, 199 Park Road Ext. Ste. 102, Middlebury, CT 06762.
