Lewis P. Warner, Jr.
THOMASTON- Lewis P. Warner, Jr., 80, of Thomaston died Friday July 9, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Wagner) Warner.
Mr. Warner was born in Thomaston, January 20, 1941 son of the late Lewis P. Warner, Sr. and Charlotte (Salmon) Warner. He retired from the Iseli Screw Machine as a Foreman after over 40 years of service.
He was a member of the Connecticut and New England Ox Owners Association, an avid farmer and loved baling hay and working on his tractors.
Mr. Warner is survived by his three children, Steven Warner and his wife Lisa, Brian Warner and Richard Warner and his wife Denise, three grandchildren, Lewis P. Warner, IV and Sadie and Lena Warner. He also leaves two sisters, Allie Bassett and Tina Banks.
He was predeceased by his two sons, Lewis P. Warner, III and Billy Warner, three sisters, Shirley Hazelton, Milly Edwards, Sally Gladych and his brother, Robert Warner.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow Street in Waterbury. Burial will follow in West Cemetery in Plymouth. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
