Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother

             CHESHIRE- Mary Campanaro Wolff, 92, of Cheshire died on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 peacefully at her home. She was the widow of Joseph R. Wolff. 

            Mrs. Wolff was born in Waterbury on March 3, 1928 daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Cianciolo) Campanaro.

            She was educated in Waterbury schools and was a former employee of St. Mary’s Hospital.

            Mary was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Her hobbies included bowling, reading, quilting, sudoku, crossword puzzles and her many activities at the Cheshire Senior Center.

            Mrs. Wolff is survived by her son, Peter DiLeo and his wife Emily of Perrysburg, Ohio, her daughters, Linda Prus and her husband Larry of Ocean Pines, MD and Janet Scougal and her husband Andrew of Leominster, MA. Also 9 grandchildren, Daniel Prus, Christopher Prus and his wife Tonya, Gregory Prus, Erica DiLeo, Rachael Sullo and her husband John, Erik Scougal, Fiona Scougal, Marco DiLeo, Dorothy DiLeo and 3 great grandchildren.

            Mary also is survived by her sister, Judith Campanaro of Waterbury and her step children, Jay Wolff and his wife Ellen, Tom Wolff and his wife Trisha and Lois Wolff who was very devoted to her. Also 8 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

            She was predeceased by her stepdaughters, Sandy and Janet Wolff and her stepson, Gary Wolff and her previous husbands, Angelo DiLeo and Maurice Lafreniere.

            Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget of Sweden Church, 175 Main Street in Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. All those attending are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. The Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow Street in Waterbury is in charge of the arrangements.
