Parker Stephen Barry

         WATERBURY - Parker Stephen Barry, 35, died unexpectedly at St Mary’s Hospital on Monday September 21, 2020.

           He was born in Farmington, CT on June 7, 1985 to Paul and Kathleen (Feeley) Barry. He leaves behind his father Paul S. Barry and his sister Morgan Barry, both of Waterbury. He was predeceased by his mother Kathleen Feeley Barry, his twin Prescott Thomas Barry, his brother Raymond Quinn O’Neil Jr., his grandparents Francis and Arlene (Chatfield) Feeley and John F. and Marjorie (Powers) Barry. He was also predeceased by Ruth and Roy O’Neil, his brother Raymond’s grandparents, who treated him as their own grandchild.  

         Parker Graduated from Holy Cross High School in 2003 and attended Nichols College. He worked in the painting and contracting business most of his career and also worked at CRCO in Denver, Colorado as a Client Advocate.

         Parker played basketball throughout school and enjoyed playing basketball with his friends into adulthood. He enjoyed reading, sporting events and spending time with friends and family. Parker’s desire to help people and encourage them was reflected in all of his relationships. His smile and heart will be truly missed by all who knew him.

         Graveside services will be held Monday September 28, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 2324 East Main St., Waterbury with the Very Rev. James M. Sullivan officiating.  Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery office and you will be directed to the gravesite. The Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow St. is in charge of arrangements.
