Her connection with her siblings was extraordinary, their love for each other and for Ireland was deep. Tuesday night was McCarthy night at brother Jim’s Long Acre Inn, Wolcott. We were blessed with many cousins, and summers at the lake had endless company. Luddy, McCarthy, Rourke, McSherry, Brennan, Kelley & Cassie clans are a few of the families that came. The 4th of July parties and the Luddy-Finn Crazy Cousin Picnics at Volmer’s grove were amazing times. Rosemary’s trips visiting the “cousins” in Ireland were highlights of her life.
